The Atlas Companies is currently hiring a Marketing Manager to join our team based in Elk Grove Village, IL. Supplying territories in Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Indiana, Atlas has been a leading provider of Compact Construction, Industrial Equipment and Material Handling Solutions for over 70 years.
The Marketing Manager will lead the marketing team while collaborating with the sales team, department managers and other cross-functional teams to increase brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. This person must be comfortable wearing many hats, be extremely organized, and able to use data and insights to develop creative marketing solutions.
Your New Role:
- Leads a team of marketing professionals to deliver company objectives
- Develops a complete understanding of the customer and competitive landscape including products, pricing and trends
- Owns and oversees market analysis and reporting to focus on sales lead efforts and drive new marketing campaigns and promotions, while understanding the appropriate media channels
- Understands CRM and automates processes to distribute and track sales leads. Uses data and qualitative insights to identify and minimize pain points for the sales team
- Develops and maintains company websites and intranet, monitoring and reporting on traffic trends for both
- Plans and coordinates company events for employees and customers, evaluates their success, and proposes adjustments as needed
- Provides day-to-day coaching to direct reports, regularly evaluating performance and providing clear feedback, training, and support
Requirements
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- 5-7 years of direct experience in a marketing leadership role
- A Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus in marketing, sales or business
- Experience with CRM, marketing software and internal business systems
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Thrives in a role with high visibility
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous project management and people development skills
- Highly collaborative, analytical and solutions oriented
