Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Maintenance Technician to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our storage facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has strong problem-solving skills, and can work independently while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
· Perform routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
· Maintain the cleanliness of the facility, including hallways, drive aisles, office areas, restrooms, and common areas.
· Sweep, pressure wash, and remove debris from the property.
· Perform minor repairs, including painting, drywall, door adjustments, lock replacements, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
· Replace light bulbs and maintain exterior and interior lighting.
· Inspect and repair gates, fencing, roll-up doors, and other facility equipment.
· Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, weeding, watering, and maintaining attractive grounds.
· Empty trash receptacles and maintain dumpster areas.
· Assist with unit preparation, including cleaning and removing abandoned property when required.
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
· Maintain maintenance logs and report repair needs to management.
· Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications:
· Previous maintenance, facilities, handyman, or construction experience preferred.
· Knowledge of basic plumbing electrical, carpentry, and painting.
· Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently
· Positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
