Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm, M-F
Employment Type: Full time, trial to hire
About this Opportunity:
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Line Lead to join our production team at our co-packing facility. The Line Lead is responsible for helping lead daily production activities, ensuring products are packed safely and efficiently, and supporting a team of production employees.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who takes pride in quality, safety, productivity, and teamwork.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and support production employees on assigned packaging lines.
- Set up, operate, and monitor packaging equipment according to production requirements.
- Ensure products are packed accurately, efficiently, and according to customer specifications.
- Monitor production line performance, quality, and product output.
- Perform and document quality checks throughout production runs.
- Ensure employees follow company safety, GMP, and sanitation procedures.
- Train new and existing employees on proper line procedures and equipment operation.
- Communicate production goals, priorities, and changes to team members.
- Assist with line changeovers, product changeovers, and equipment adjustments.
- Identify and report equipment issues, quality concerns, and production problems to the Production Supervisor.
What makes you a great fit:
- Previous manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow production instructions and customer specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, other departments, and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical production duties throughout the shift. As well as lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
