Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Aluminum Welder / Fabricator to join our sign manufacturing team. This role focuses on building high-quality aluminum sign structures, including cabinets, raceways, and custom signage components. Ideal candidates have strong MIG aluminum welding skills and experience working in a production or fabrication environment. If you have the experience, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG aluminum welding for sign cabinets, frames, and raceways
- Fabricate and assemble aluminum components for custom signage and channel letters
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
- Cut, bend, drill, and shape aluminum using fabrication equipment
- Grind and finish welds to meet cosmetic and structural standards
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency in all finished products
- Work with the production team to meet deadlines and project specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- 1 years of aluminum welding and fabrication experience
- Proficiency in MIG required, but TIG welding also preferred (aluminum required)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements
- Experience with fabrication tools (press brake, shear, saws, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced shop
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience in sign manufacturing or architectural metal fabrication
- Knowledge of sign cabinets, channel letters, or raceway systems
- Familiarity with LED sign components
