Position Summary:
As a Sign Assembler, you’ll be responsible for assembling and prepping various types of signage including illuminated, metal, and acrylic displays. You’ll use a range of tools and equipment to bring project designs to life, while following specific measurements, work orders, and blueprints. Your role is essential in making sure every sign we send out meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble signage using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment (drills, jigsaws, soldering tools, etc.)
- Interpret and work from production drawings, blueprints, and templates
- Accurately measure, align, and fit sign components based on job specs
- Assist with basic low-voltage wiring for illuminated signage
- Perform quality checks and troubleshoot parts that need adjustments
- Cross-train and assist in other areas of production as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a hands-on production or mechanical assembly environment
- Familiarity with power tools and small machinery
- Comfort with jigsaw cutting, soldering, or wiring is a strong plus
- Strong work ethic and ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and on-time performance
