Commercial Facility Service Technician

Position Overview

AMW Service Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial Field Service Technician to support our growing commercial facilities service division.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing leadership role for a well-rounded, self-sufficient field professional with strong multi-trade experience. The Lead Foreman will be responsible for diagnosing issues, completing repairs, leading field work, coordinating with internal dispatch or project management, and representing AMW professionally at commercial, restaurant, and retail locations.

We are building a strong in-house service team and are looking for a knowledgeable field leader who takes pride in quality work, clear communication, and getting the job done right.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform on-site service calls at commercial, restaurant, and retail locations

· Lead field work and coordinate with helpers or other technicians as needed

· Diagnose and complete general facility repairs

· Perform carpentry, drywall, framing, patching, and finish repairs

· Complete floor tile repairs and replacements

· Repair and replace acoustical ceiling tiles and grid systems

· Service commercial-grade doors, frames, closers, hinges, locks, and hardware

· Diagnose and perform light commercial plumbing repairs

· Diagnose basic HVAC-related facility issues and coordinate next steps when needed

· Troubleshoot and perform light electrical repairs within allowable scope

· Communicate clearly with store managers, dispatch, and internal leadership

· Document work performed through photos, notes, and time tracking

· Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area and vehicle

· Follow company safety standards and customer site requirements

Required Qualifications

· Minimum 7 years of commercial facility maintenance, construction, or field service experience

· Broad knowledge across carpentry, plumbing, electrical diagnosis, HVAC diagnosis, tile, ceilings, doors, and hardware

· Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions

· Experience in restaurant, retail, or commercial service environments

· Strong customer interaction and communication skills

· Valid driver's license with clean driving record

· Ability to pass background check and applicable customer site requirements

· Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in active commercial environments

· Professional appearance and strong work ethic

The ideal candidate is not just a single-trade technician. We are looking for a well-rounded, experienced field leader who has seen a wide variety of commercial repair situations and can troubleshoot problems quickly, communicate professionally, and complete quality work with minimal oversight.

This person should be comfortable leading a helper, managing service calls, documenting work, and serving as a trusted representative of AMW Service Solutions in the field.

Compensation

· $28 - $35/hour, based on experience

· Overtime opportunities available
