Senior Living Marketing Manager Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, creative, and driven Senior Living Marketing Manager to lead and support marketing initiatives across our senior living communities in the Birmingham metro area. This role is ideal for someone who can blend strategic marketing leadership with hands-on execution and digital campaigns while developing new marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness, drive occupancy, and strengthen referral relationships.
The ideal candidate is both a strong marketer and a strong communicator, with experience in campaign development, community outreach, brand management, and oversee content creating compelling brochures, flyers, event materials.

Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute local and regional marketing strategies to drive occupancy and lead generation
- Identify and implement new marketing opportunities to increase community visibility and market share
- Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies based on results
- Support community teams with marketing initiatives aligned with occupancy goals
Creative Development
- Design and produce flyers, brochures, event invitations, signage, and promotional materials
- Maintain brand consistency across all print and digital collateral
- Create marketing content for community events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
- Coordinate with print vendors and external marketing partners
Community Outreach & Relationship Building
- Develop relationships with referral sources including hospitals, rehab centers, physicians, and community partners
- Coordinate and support community events, networking events, and outreach initiatives
- Identify partnership opportunities to increase local market presence
Digital Marketing
- Manage social media content and local digital marketing efforts
- Support email marketing campaigns and lead nurturing initiatives
- Assist with website content updates and online reputation management
- Coordinate digital advertising campaigns as needed
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with Executive Directors and Sales teams to support occupancy goals
- Track and report on marketing ROI, lead sources, and campaign effectiveness
- Assist leadership in developing annual marketing plans and budgets
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
- 3 years of marketing experience (senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or related industry preferred)
- Strong graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
- Experience creating print marketing collateral and campaign materials
- Knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and local advertising
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-starter with strong creative and strategic thinking abilities
