Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as a compassionate advocate for our clients as they navigate the aging process and healthcare system. Our goal is to give families peace of mind by knowing that a dedicated RN advocate is always in their loved one’s corner. What You’ll Do:
- Provide personalized assistance for our clients to look out for your their best interest.
- Give professional guidance while navigating the fragmented healthcare system.
- Routine Check-Ins
- Medical Appointment Accompaniment
- Help coordinate in-home care giving and provide ongoing monitoring
- Offer guidance and crisis intervention when healthcare challenges arise
- Assessments & Screenings
- Treatment Plan Monitoring
- Help simplify complex medical decisions so clients and families feel supported and informed
What We're Looking for:
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
- Experience working with patients who have some degree of cognitive impairment i.e. dementia/alzheimers
- Previous clinical experience in nursing (geriatric, home health, or hospital setting preferred)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally within the Lowcountry area (this can be discussed further to narrow down the geographic area)
- Excellent communication, listening, and advocacy skills
- Professional and compassionate
- Ability to work independently with a high level of integrity and fiduciary responsibility
Preferred (but not required):
- Background in senior advocacy
