The Guardian plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students within the school environment. This position involves working closely with school administration, faculty, and students to foster a secure atmosphere conducive to learning. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in managing educational programs, and a passion for student development.

Duties

• Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to protect students during school hours.
• Supervise and manage student activities, ensuring adherence to school policies.
• Engage in public speaking events to educate students and parents about safety measures.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to strategize on curriculum development that includes safety education.
• Fundraise for programs that enhance student safety and well-being.
• Provide leadership training for staff and volunteers involved in student supervision.
• Monitor classroom environments to ensure they are safe and supportive for all students.
• Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging open communication regarding their concerns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with students in an educational setting.
• Strong public speaking skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, particularly in supervising teams or educational staff.
• Familiarity with strategic planning processes related to school safety and student engagement.
• Background in curriculum development that incorporates safety education is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and other stakeholders within the school community.
