What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Engineer position at Atlas Search?
Responsibilities:
End-User & Infrastructure Support: Deliver high-touch desk-side and remote support for 300 users across multiple offices, managing desktop environments, device imaging, GPOs, and troubleshooting hardware/software (including financial platforms like Bloomberg and Citrix).
Systems & Operations Management: Maintain and support enterprise IT systems (servers, storage, networking), handle deployments, data migrations, and integrations, and track/report production issues while contributing to after-hours on-call coverage and testing.
Technical Expertise & Tools: Leverage strong experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, SCCM, Citrix VDI/XenApp, endpoint security tools, and PowerShell scripting to automate tasks, enforce policies, and optimize desktop and device management.
Qualifications & Skills
5–8 years of financial industry IT support experience, strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a bachelor’s degree; willingness to follow a hybrid NYC-based work model.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
