- Clean/sanitize classrooms, restrooms, countertops, windows, blinds, furniture, walls, water fountains, gymnasiums, locker rooms, and other areas/items as needed and assigned
- Vacuum, shampoo, sweep, strip, buff, dust, mop, etc. all floors and stairs as needed
- Remove and dispose of trash in facilities and on grounds
- Clean hazards, including bodily fluids, spills, etc. per best practices and current regulations
- Set-up/clean-up for regular and special events as directed
- Process and complete internal work orders
- Recognize and report safety issues in the workplace to the Director of Facilities
- Attend trainings and in-service meetings as necessary
- Maintain excellent attendance and reliability by regularly reporting to work as scheduled
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities
- Hourly/Non-Exempt
- $18.50 - $21.73 Hourly
- Full-time; Monday - Friday; 12:30 - 9:00 PM
- Approximately 3* weeks of school breaks
- Please note hourly positions are not annualized at Atlas and compensation is based upon actual hours worked.
- 80* hours of annual flex time and 48* hours of annual sick time

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to pass required background screening pursuant to CRS
- 22-30.5-110.7
- Must be reliable and able to report to work consistently, meeting all attendance expectations
- Must be able to maintain a friendly and positive demeanor around all staff and students
- Must be able to operate and care for mechanized cleaning equipment
- Must have a basic understanding of technology to effectively input and retrieve information within the work order system
- Must be able to work independently with exceptional time management and attention to detail
- Must demonstrate and value accountability, excellence, integrity, resilience, respect, and responsibility
- Bilingual; Spanish & English
- 2 years of custodial experience, especially within a school setting
- Sits, stands, walks, stoops, kneels, and crouches/squats while performing duties
- Lifts or carries burdens weighing up to 50 lbs, and pushes and/or pulls other burdens weighing 100 lbs.
- Conducts activities involving climbing, stooping, kneeling/bending, crouching/squatting, crawling, twisting, and reaching utilizing a ladder or a lift
- Works with hands above shoulder height with a weight up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to abide by policies and procedures of Atlas Schools
