Overview
This job opportunity works well for college students that want to make a lot of (capital)money during the summer months. The product/services that will be sold is Pest Control and Weed/Fertilizer services mainly to residential homes via door to door. Housing will be provided if needed during the summer months. All Year-round selling is available, prime months for selling is May-August. Results will be increased sales/communication skills, confidence, capital, networking, and entrepreneurial development.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in outside sales, business development, and account management across diverse industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a customer-focused approach, and a hard work ethic. As a key player in our sales organization, you will be responsible for expanding our market presence through territory management, lead generation, and direct sales efforts. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about in-person sales, D2D sales, and building long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Helping customers find a treatment plan that best helps them.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets within assigned territories.
  • Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct product demos and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing features and benefits.
  • Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service and upselling opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns and promotional strategies.
  • Track market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs, product enhancements, and market conditions.

Qualifications/Nice to Have

  • Proven experience in outside sales, D2D sales, or technology sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software such as fieldroutes or similar platforms.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage territory effectively through territory management techniques.
  • Skilled in lead generation, cold calling, product demos, and upselling strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market data and develop actionable insights.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Experience in retail sales or inside sales is a plus but not required.
