Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Newtown Square, PA, for an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. The responsibilities include designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs, monitoring athletic performance metrics, providing injury prevention strategies, and assisting in the development of athlete-specific training plans. The coach will collaborate with other professionals to ensure athletes achieve their goals in a safe and effective manner.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Strength Training and Strength & Conditioning principles
- Expertise in Sports Science and Athletic Performance
- Knowledge of Injury Prevention techniques and protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working directly with athletes and staff
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Sports Science, Kinesiology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as NSCA-CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) or equivalent
- Previous experience in a sports performance or strength and conditioning setting preferred
- A passion for helping athletes at all levels reach their potential
Salary
- $25-30/hr
- Commensurate with experience
