Security Dispatcher - Overnight Shift

NIGHT-SHIFT SECURITY DISPATCHER

Atlas Pacific Security, headquartered in Vancouver, WA, provides patrol and on-site security throughout the greater Portland & Vancouver area. We are currently seeking a full-time experienced dispatcher. The pay range is $20 to $24.75 based on experience and training.

The Dispatch Position

The position hours will be our overnight shift from 1730-0600. During the shift, the dispatcher will:

• Take calls for service and dispatch officers.
• CCTV monitoring.
• Document activities performed by officers.
• Communicate with clients when necessary.
• Maintain a professional demeanor in a team-based environment.
• Serve as the go between for emergency services.
• Monitor radio and telephone communications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred skills and work experience are as follows:

• Dispatch and/or security experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service skills. (Required)
• Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) (Required)
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Typing proficiency of 45 WPM or higher. (Preferred)
