Atlas Mountain Construction is a commercial construction company specializing in tenant fit-outs and ground-up projects.. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of projects from pre-construction through closeout, while also contributing to project acquisition and estimating efforts.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role managing commercial work with a strong emphasis on interior tenant buildouts (retail, office, restaurant) and ground-up construction. In addition to running projects, this position plays a key role in bringing in new work through relationships, industry connections, and estimating opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial projects from kickoff through completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and client communication
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure scope alignment
- Process RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Oversee quality control and enforce safety standards
- Lead project buyout and subcontractor procurement
- Assist in estimating, bidding, and pre-construction planning
- Leverage industry relationships to help bring in new projects
- Identify and pursue new opportunities through networking and client connections
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial construction project management
- Strong background in tenant fit-outs / interior buildouts (required)
- Ground-up construction experience preferred
- Experience with estimating and bidding commercial projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership, communication, and business development skills
- Existing industry relationships and network is a strong plus
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
