What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortuary Transporter position at Atlas Mortuary Services?
- A mortuary Transport Driver will be responsible for the transport of the deceased person from the place of death (i.e. medical facility, residential homes, coroners office) to funeral homes, cemeteries, crematories and other designated locations.
- Must be able to pass a Riverside County Sheriff background.
- We Are Looking to hire Removal Specialist/ Driver
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a CLEAN driving record.
- MUST PROVIDE DMV DRIVING RECORD PRINTOUT.
- Pass a Drug Screen and Background Check.
- Professional Business Attire Required.
- Have great communication skills.
- No visible tattoos with suit on or long sleeves dress Shirts.
- Must be reliable with a valid California drivers license.
- Must be able to work days, nights and weekends.
- Knowable with Tablet and Computers
- Ability to follow instructions given over the phone or in person.
- Ability to work well with others and and a shift partner.
- Transporting decedents from place of death to their assigned Mortuary/Funeral Home.
- Completing first call paperwork and ID Tags
- Interacting with families and nurse/hospice nurse/site personnel to gather information.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle and grounds.
- Placing ID Tags on the Decedent
- 12 & 24 Hour Shifts Available
- Clean Driving Records

Experience:
- Van Driver: 1 year (Preferred)
