Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Document and report quality issues and non-conformances, collaborating with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Perform routine testing and analysis using various measurement tools and equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality metrics.
- Participate in internal audits and assist in external audits as required.
- Provide training and support to production staff on quality-related topics.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Quality Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment (calipers, gauges, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
