Job Posting: Part-Time Janitorial Cleaner

ATLAS Maintenance Services LLC is a leading provider of professional cleaning services committed to maintaining pristine, safe, and healthy environments for our clients. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to join our team.

Position Summary:

This part-time position is ideal for a self-motivated individual who is able to work independently. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of two distinct commercial locations, totaling 25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Location 1: Gym in Mount Vernon, NY

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of locker rooms and restrooms, including sanitizing all surfaces, restocking supplies, and emptying trash.
• Keep the front entrance and lobby area clean and presentable by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
• Perform dusting of all surfaces, including windowsills, ledges, and equipment.
• Keep the glass entryway doors clean and free of fingerprints and smudges.

Location 2: Dental Office in New Rochelle, NY

• Execute a comprehensive cleaning and sanitation plan for the complete dental office.
• Duties include sweeping and mopping floors.
• Clean and disinfect all surfaces and furniture.
• Empty all trash receptacles and replace liners.

Location 3: Gym in Eastchester, NY

• Maintain overall cleanliness of a high-traffic fitness studio; vacuum full turf area, sweep/mop floors, disinfect bathrooms and showers, empty trash, and reset studio before opening.
• Perform bi-weekly high dusting of exposed duct work/vents, bi-weekly interior window cleaning, and monthly exterior window cleaning.
• Arrive on time for all shifts and follow a set checklist without supervision.
• Use provided cleaning equipment/chemicals correctly and keep supplies organized on-site

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work assigned hours consistently.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, standing for extended periods, and occasional lifting.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between the locations (private or public).

Schedule:

This is a part-time position totaling 16-18 hours per week, with the following schedule:

• Dental Office (New Rochelle, NY) The hours for this location may be flexible.

Wednesday: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Saturday: 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

• Gym (Mount Vernon, NY)

Saturday: 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Sunday: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

• Gym (Eastchester, NY) The hours for this location may be flexible.

Monday: 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Wednesday: 8:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Saturday: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
