Duties
- Prepare and present a variety of japanese small plates following traditional techniques and recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and innovative offerings.
- Ensure proper food handling practices are followed to maintain the highest quality of food service.
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in the culinary industry to enhance menu offerings
Qualifications
- Proven experience or similar role within the food industry, preferably in a fine dining environment.
- Strong culinary skills with expertise in knife skills and food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling raw fish and other ingredients.
- Excellent attention to detail with a passion for creating visually appealing dishes.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
