We are looking to hire child-focused, patient, kind, and collaborative individuals to join our Teaching team at Atlas Silicon Forest.
Our Assistant Teacher would:
- Help to Implement the Atlas Curriculum (which we will train you on) with a specified age group.
- Create fun and interactive learning experiences and prepare kids for their next level of education.
- Manage the routine and environment of the classroom to ensure a safe and nurturing space for all.
- Observe & Assess: observing and documenting the development of children and evaluating the achievement of developmental milestones
- Communicate: on an everyday basis with parents through an app, weekly emails on curriculum, and respectful in-person interactions to achieve success for the child.
We are most interested in talking to applicants that bring with them:
- 1-year experience working in a licensed childcare facility (preferred)
- Candidates who have the desire to make a positive impact on children's lives
- A positive and patient demeanor
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Bilingual or full fluency in Spanish
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
