Area Manager

About the Role:

The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple locations within a designated geographic region to ensure operational excellence and consistent achievement of business objectives. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance management to drive growth and profitability across all sites. The Area Manager will lead, mentor, and develop store managers and their teams to foster a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. They will analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement. Ultimately, the Area Manager will serve as a key liaison between corporate leadership and individual locations, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-unit retail or operations management.
• Proven track record of managing teams and driving sales growth across multiple locations.
• Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting and P&L responsibility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
• Experience in the specific industry relevant to the company’s operations.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and CRM software.
• Demonstrated success in change management and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support multiple store managers to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
• Develop and implement regional strategies to improve customer experience and increase market share.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control across all locations.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and address challenges proactively.
• Recruit, train, and develop management teams to build strong leadership pipelines within the region.
• Collaborate with corporate departments such as marketing, HR, and supply chain to align regional initiatives with overall business objectives.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on regional performance to senior management.
