Your role
Mission
Learn to perform routine service, preventative maintenance, and repairs on air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and ancillary equipment at customer sites. Working closely with other Service Technicians for training as well as attending in-person training at the Air Academy in Rock Hill, SC.

To succeed, you will need
High School Diploma and/or any related technical school training.
Able to work independently with strong self-management and professionalism. Able to complete work within assigned deadlines. Computer proficiency as required for communication, research, work orders and programming various controllers. Excellent customer service and communications skills (verbal and written).
Employees will be subject to random drug testing.
Must be fluent in English and have a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities include operating forklifts, handling deliveries and shipping, and performing all shop-related activities as directed, along with other assigned tasks.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
Extensive travel to customer locations, including out-of-town and overnight travel. Available for a rotating schedule of on-call work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Mission

Roles And Responsibilities
- Be able perform routine service, preventative maintenance, and repairs on all brands of air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and ancillary equipment. Preventative maintenance should be conducted in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations (with regards to schedule and scope) within the first 6 months.
- Pressure wash (where possible) and effectively clean the customer's entire equipment pad including skids, coolers, concrete, tanks, etc.
- Communicate with the customer and Service Manager regarding all services performed and clearly present all options for any required repairs, upgrades, or other customer needs.
- Document all work performed daily using company provided hardware and software. Develop rapport with customers and other Service Technicians through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
- Fill out all service-related documentation to include service reports, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return documents.
- Attend training at our Air Academy (in Rock Hill, SC) as well as train with other Service Technicians.
- Display the ability to absorb a higher level of learning. Provide a high level of customer service, responding to customer needs and working to satisfy customer expectations.
- Display the ability to manage time accordingly. Always promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment.
- Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-orientated image to customers.
- Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.
- Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.
