Field Service Technician - Specialty Rental - Gastonia, NC

Your mission as the Field Service Technician is to be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the field. It will be your mission to support Atlas Copco Rental's growth strategy as the leader in oil free air rental business in North America.

You will

• Report directly to the Customer Service Manager
• Maintain the fleet in the field
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout th territory
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
• Improve measurable success to business targets
• Document all work performed daily using compay provided hardware and software

• You have 2- 3 years of expereience as an industrial related field service mechanic
• You have an appropriate electromechanical degree or training
• You have demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overal and repair of different industrial equipment including diesel, electrical, hydraulic and/or pneumatics
• You have good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus
• You have high energy levels
• You will be expected to lift up to 50lbs and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending and kneeling

You will be part of our team in Gastonia, NC. You will travel to customer sits with this region. This position is hybrid so you will not always come into the store every day.
