Workshop Technician

Your role

As a Workshop Technician, your mission is to assist with assembling/disassembling and testing of vacuum pumps according to a weekly plan. Assists in and cooperates with team members on Corrective Action Reports as required.. You will report to the Team Leader.

You will:

• Be responsible for using the correct PPE, obeys required BAM processes and procedures.
• Be responsible for meeting the daily production targets with respect to quality, volume and efficiency. Collaborates with, other team members and the Team Leader in establishing priorities, ensures customer due dates are met.
• Inspects parts, assemblies, and systems. Follows inspection criteria defined in Work Instructions, drawings, schematics, or other technical data as required.

• Must have High School education or GED, preferably in a mechanical/technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing or similar.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Good PC literacy; experience with SAP an advantage.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, and published specifications.

Job location

This role requires you to work on-site at our facility in Solon, Ohio. You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
