Main Responsibilities
- Maximizes buildings and equipment uptime using efficient, corrective, planned and preventative maintenance.
- Ensures the safety policy is achieved for areas of direct control and local legislation is met
- Creates and oversees a planned maintenance program.
- Develops maintenance schedules, procedures and methods for equipment and facilities.
- Identifies parts or spares required for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Reviews completed repairs and recommends appropriate actions to improve mean time between repairs.
- Leads projects to install or move production equipment installations as required.
- Monitors equipment operating parameters to ensure the maximum operational performance.
- Diagnoses and repairs production and facility equipment failures.
- Conducts periodic calibration on all torque wrenches, gas sensors and analytical equipment.
- Plans and coordinates equipment upgrades and machinery modifications, investigates equipment breakdowns and monitors equipment performance after repairs have been made.
- Responsible for Performance Management Cycle for all direct staff
- Takes direction from Operations Manager and other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred but not required
- 10 years’ experience in plant maintenance with 5 years’ experience managing a facility maintenance team preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
- Knowledge of ERP Systems
