Job Description:
We are working on behalf of a highly-rated, 30-year-established small animal and exotics hospital in Las Vegas, NV that is looking to welcome an experienced Medical Director to lead its clinical team.
This practice has built deep roots in the local community, seeing a high volume of new clients each week alongside a loyal existing client base. The hospital treats dogs, cats, and exotics, including reptiles, small mammals, poultry, and ferrets, with a case mix spanning preventive care, dentistry, diagnostics, soft tissue surgery, and urgent and emergency care.
Appointments run 15-20 pets per DVM day, backed by a strong team of licensed technicians and vet assistants, and the clinic is closed every Sunday. You'll be leading a team of 3 DVMs and a fantastic support group!
As Medical Director, you'll set the clinical standard for the practice: mentoring associate doctors, driving medical quality, and partnering closely with the Practice Manager on hospital operations, while still spending the majority of your time practicing hands-on medicine. This is a kind, collaborative, and medically progressive team, free from internal competition or burnout scheduling, looking for a leader who wants to build something meaningful in an underserved community.

- $145,000 - $175,000 base salary production bonus
