What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Veterinarian position at Atlas Consultancy Group?
Small animal general practice in Burlingame, San Francisco is hiring a full-time veterinarian.
This is a newer hospital that opened in 2024, so you are not stepping into someone else’s long-established system. The space is modern, purpose-built, and set up for a full range of GP work including preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry, and routine surgery. Case flow is steady and varied, with a mix of wellness, chronic disease management, and same-day urgent needs supported by virtual care when appropriate.
The medical team is established but still shaping how the practice operates. There is on-site leadership with experienced veterinarians, and you are not working in isolation or being asked to carry the entire caseload yourself. The expectation is that you practice good medicine, communicate clearly with clients, and contribute to how the hospital develops rather than just fitting into a fixed system.
Appointments are structured to allow for real client conversations and follow-through on cases. You will have support from trained paraprofessional staff, and the setup allows you to work cases up properly rather than referring out prematurely or cutting corners.
