Associate Veterinarian

We are working on behalf of a well established, multi-doctor small animal hospital in High Point, NC that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its team.

This is a full service practice with a complete in house laboratory, digital radiology, and a dedicated dental suite, so you will have what you need to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care without routinely sending cases elsewhere.

The hospital works closely with a nearby sister clinic, and between the two sites there is a genuinely collaborative group of veterinarians with close to 50 years of combined experience and treatment philosophies drawn from some of the top veterinary colleges in the country. Support is a real strength here.

The team runs a 3:1 support staff to doctor ratio, and technicians, assistants, and reception staff all take part in continuing education, so the whole hospital keeps improving together. The schedule is built around 4 days per week with rotating Saturdays and no on call hours, which makes a sensible work life balance achievable rather than theoretical.

This role would suit an experienced DVM or a veterinarian looking for a supportive multi-doctor environment in a growing part of North Carolina. High Point sits in the Triad alongside Greensboro and Winston-Salem, an affordable and welcoming area with plenty to do, and only a few hours from both the coast and the mountains.

About You

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
• You hold, or are eligible for, licensure in North Carolina
• Comfortable providing medical, surgical, and dental care across a range of patients
• Collaborative team player who enjoys working alongside other veterinarians
• Committed to continuing education and ongoing professional growth
