What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Veterinarian position at Atlas Consultancy Group?
We are working on behalf of a well-established, full-service veterinary hospital in Wilmington, NC that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its team.
This practice takes a whole-health approach to care, combining conventional medicine with integrative therapies such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, laser therapy, and spinal manipulation. It is a warm, client-focused environment where each patient is treated as an individual, and doctors have the freedom to practice to the highest standard.
Client education sits at the heart of how the hospital operates. You will have the time to talk owners through findings and treatment options, building the kind of trust that leads to long-term relationships with families and their pets.
Shared decision-making is the norm here, not the exception. You will work alongside a supportive paraprofessional team that contributes to a positive, collaborative hospital culture. The practice keeps the autonomy and personality of a local hospital while being backed by the resources and benefits of a large, veterinarian-led network, giving you access to structured mentorship, leadership tracks, and a nationwide community of colleagues to explore your clinical interests.
Whether you already practice integrative medicine or are keen to learn more about it, this is a hospital where your skills are respected, and your growth is supported. Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus a monthly production bonus with no negative accrual, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
