CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN
Atlas Construction Group is hiring an experienced Construction Foreman to lead residential and commercial projects throughout Northwest Ohio.
We are looking for a hands-on leader with working knowledge of both interior and exterior construction. The right person will be able to receive a work order, organize the job, lead the crew, and complete the assigned scope with little to no supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Review work orders, project scopes, and job expectations
Plan daily tasks and assign work to crew members
Lead interior and exterior construction projects from start to completion
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Atlas quality standards
Train and develop new employees
Coach crew members and correct performance issues when necessary
Communicate job progress, material needs, delays, and change-order items to management
Maintain an organized, professional, and safe jobsite
Verify completed work and conduct a final quality-control inspection
Take progress photos and document completed work
Represent Atlas Construction Group professionally when communicating with customers
Remain open to coaching, feedback, and company procedures
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of both interior and exterior construction
Previous construction leadership or foreman experience
Ability to read and understand work orders and project scopes
Ability to complete projects with little to no supervision
Strong communication and team-leadership skills
Ability to train new and less-experienced employees
Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Ability to safely use common construction tools and equipment
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Willingness to work alongside the crew when needed
Must be coachable and willing to follow Atlas systems and standards
Relevant Experience May Include:
Roofing, siding, gutters, soffit, and fascia
Exterior repairs and carpentry
Framing, drywall, painting, trim, doors, and flooring
Interior remodeling and repair work
Jobsite supervision and employee training

We need someone who can lead without needing to be constantly managed. This person should be confident making day-to-day jobsite decisions while understanding when an issue needs to be brought to management. The ideal candidate holds employees accountable, works well with others, accepts feedback, and takes ownership of every project assigned to them.
