Job Responsibilities:
- Installation of customer premises equipment, including modems and related networking devices
- Installation and routing of fiber optic cabling both indoors and outdoors
- Running aerial cable from utility poles to customer residences using ladders up to 28 feet
- Performing trouble calls, including diagnostics, repair of service issues, replacement of equipment, connectors, and cabling
- Educating and assisting customers with proper use of installed equipment and services
Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Social Security Number
- Personal white minivan or SUV suitable for work purposes
- Ability to work at heights and safely operate ladders
- Ability to perform physical work in outdoor environments
- Previous experience in cable, fiber optic, or telecommunications work is preferred; training is available
Compensation and Work Conditions:
- Piece-rate compensation (paid per completed job; not an hourly position)
- Average workload of 3–5 jobs per day
- All assigned jobs are located within one service area (approximately a 10–15 mile radius)
- Payment issued by check
- Expected weekly earnings: $1,600–$1,900
- Official employment with proper documentation
Pay: $1,100.00 - $2,100.00 per week
