Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dismantler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for disassembling various types of vehicles, ensuring that all components are carefully removed and tagged for selling. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with power tools, hand tools, and vehicles.
Duties
- We are seeking a Dismantler to work on the hoist, dismantling vehicles for inventory and sold parts (engines, transmissions, transfer cases, etc.). The ideal candidate will possess the technical skills to dismantle vehicles safely and in a timely manner and the interpersonal skills to work with a team of dismantlers
- Sort, catagorize, and tag dismantled parts for inventory management.
- Perform inspections on dismantled items to assess their condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to improve dismantling processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly related to vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks throughout the shift.
- Other duties as assigned
- MUST have your own tools
- Mechanic experience a must
