Your day to day as a Oversight Physician – Mobile Primary Care
Atlas Alaska is seeking an experienced Oversight Physician – Mobile Primary Care (MD or DO) to join our team as an independent contractor, offering a flexible schedule tailored to your lifestyle. In this pivotal role, you will provide clinical oversight for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) serving patients in assisted living facilities and group homes. Your expertise in internal or family medicine, particularly in caring for geriatric and medically complex populations, will enhance patient care outcomes. You will conduct periodic oversight visits to review patient care plans and provide evidence-based clinical recommendations, all while working solely in an advisory capacity without direct patient management responsibilities. This position allows you to leverage your knowledge while mentoring advanced practice providers, making a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults in the Anchorage and Wasilla areas.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
