In this role, you will:
- Assist in tracking and reporting on credit performance and key risk metrics.
- Help analyze data to understand trends, risks, and opportunities within the credit portfolio.
- Support the development and monitoring of credit strategies related to customer segmentation, credit limits, and pricing.
- Use analytical tools such as SQL, Python, or similar technologies to extract and analyze data.
- Prepare clear summaries and visualizations to communicate findings to team members and leadership.
- Contribute to the testing and improvement of credit risk models and digital decisioning tools.
- Stay informed on economic and market trends that may impact consumer credit performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and continuously learn best practices in credit risk management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or a related field (or in progress).
- 0–1 year of experience in data analysis, finance, risk, or a related internship or academic project.
- Basic to intermediate experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Python, SAS, Tableau, or Excel.
- Strong interest in consumer credit, analytics, and digital financial products.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to learn how to turn data into insights.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
