Responsibilities
- Integrate and implement clinical software applications and hardware devices as per prescribed methods.
- Manage and support the infrastructure components associated with clinical applications.
- Assist in troubleshooting user problems and provide effective solutions.
- Write comprehensive reports on system performance and issues.
- Train and retrain end-users on the proper use of clinical software and hardware.
- Test upgrades and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
- Review, analyze, and modify software and hardware to meet departmental needs.
- Detect and diagnose problems related to clinical applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Technical Analysts II and III for complex issues and projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all system-related activities.
- 1-2 years of experience in implementing medical devices and their clinical applications is preferred.
- In lieu of a degree, 3 years of experience in an IT support role can be considered.
- A High School diploma is required, with an Associate degree or Technical Diploma in a related field being an advantage.
- Valid New Jersey Driver's License is essential for this role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities are key for this position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is necessary.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A keen interest in healthcare technology and its applications is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
