Summary of Ideal Candidate:
This is a full-time position for a Client Service Associate that would serve as the primary customer service support to the advisor’s clients and with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. We are seeking an individual who is patient, precise, consistent, detailed, task oriented, and has great interpersonal skills that engenders client confidence.
Principal Responsibilities:
•Provide office coverage functioning as an administrative associate to the team.
•Assist clients in completion of all necessary documents and ensure all required forms are completed and accurate.
•Lead and manage onboarding, servicing, and maintenance activities for new and existing clients.
•Facilitate and follow up on outstanding transactions with clients (e.g., transfers).
•Maintain appropriate turnaround time for incoming items (e.g., 24 hours for checks).
•Maintain updated client contact records using CRM system.
•Maintain up-to-date organized client e-files, including digital copies of all signed applications and forms, according to compliance requirements.
•Prepare and send outgoing mail/process all incoming mail.
Skillset of an Ideal Candidate:
•Exceptional customer service experience including strong written communications – brevity and clarity.
•Proficiency with computer programs and use of multiple communication methods to ensure a consistent and exceptional client service experience, including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
•Ability to interact with people across all levels of the business
•Detail oriented – precision is key.
•Efficient time management – prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
•Exceptional organizational skills: including digital resources (such as One drive, DocuSign, etc.) calendars, travel, appointments, events, client contact records, scanning, assist with client appreciation dinners as directed by the advisor, etc.).
•Ability to work efficiently on assigned tasks with little assistance.
•Familiarity with financial planning software (i.e., eMoney, Right Capital, etc.) a plus.
Compensation and Benefits – base salary plus discretionary bonus/profit sharing based on practice profitability, 401k with match, subsidized health/dental care insurance, and 3 weeks PTO to start. Starting salary range of $65,000 – $95,000 with signing bonus, commensurate with experience.
Experience:
•Client service in wealth management practice: 3-5 years (Required). Past or current experience with Commonwealth Financial or LPL a big plus.
Work Location:
In person at our Glastonbury office, but flexible for 1-2 days of remote work.
