Atlantic Valve Services (AVS) is a full-service safety relief and control valve repair center supporting the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Region. Our team of highly skilled technicians perform a dynamic range of services to include but not limited to valve repair, in-line testing, upgrades/modifications, and turnkey outage solutions to premier leaders in the process industries.
Entry‑Level Field Technician – Valve Services

What You'll Do
This is a hands‑on, entry‑level field role supporting experienced valve technicians. You'll work in plants and shops helping inspect, repair, test, and service industrial valves used in critical manufacturing operations.
No valve experience required — we train you.
- Assist with repair and maintenance of control valves and safety relief valves
- Help disassemble, clean, and reassemble valves
- Support valve testing and calibration in the shop and in the field
- Load/unload equipment, tools, and job materials
- Follow safety procedures and job instructions
- Complete basic job paperwork and documentation
- Work alongside senior technicians and learn the trade
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical school, vocational training, or mechanical coursework is a huge plus
- Mechanical aptitude — good with tools and hands‑on work
- Willing to learn a skilled trade
- Comfortable working in industrial environments
- Ability to travel to customer sites
- Reliable, punctual, hardworking
- Strong focus on safety
