What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transport Refrigeration Technician position at Atlantic Utility Trailer Sales, Inc.?
Atlantic Utility Trailer Sales has immediate openings for EXPERIENCED Transport Refrigeration Technicians to join our team as mobile service technicians working out of fully equipped service trucks at our facility and on the road servicing and repairing our lease/rental equipment and customer trailers.
Responsibilities
- Service trailer Reefer Units
- Preventative maintenance services
- Perform minor and major repairs on reefer units including freon leaks, electrical issues, engine repairs and rebuilds, etc.
- Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with trailers and plan repairs
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on units and enter into Dealer Management System
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in Transport Refrigeration Unit maintenance & repair or equivalent experience
- Must have own tools
- Welding experience is a plus
- Possess a valid drivers license
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, crawl, bend, and climb around trailers
