Where you’ll work- On-site at our Richmond, Illinois facility
- Training: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm (First Shift)
- Role schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:00pm–1:30am (Second Shift)
- Plan, organize, and directly contribute to the operations of the St. Clair site, ensuring an optimal daily workflow aligned with our business plan
- Lead with safety: author and enforce procedures; maintain documented training programs for each area
- Machine steel to exacting specifications; verify quality and throughput
- Build a cooperative, trust-based team culture among Laborers and Machinists
- Coordinate with site and corporate leadership to synchronize production and warehousing goals
- Oversee heavy equipment operations and support safe usage
- Ensure paperwork is accurate and submitted on time
- Develop hands-on familiarity with materials and processes to support team needs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 8 years of CNC experience in manufacturing
- 5 years of leadership in a manufacturing setting
- Strength in partnering with all levels of management
- License or prior experience operating heavy equipment; welding certifications; CNC machining certification or experience
- CNC machining proficiency; experience producing products with steel, including machining steel
- Ability to obtain internal forklift and overhead crane certifications
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
