General Laborer I

We’re currently seeking a 2nd Shift¨NBSP;General Laborer I to join our growing team of diverse manufacturing professionals in Richmond, Illinois.

This role will support our 2nd shift, which works Monday through Thursday from 3:00pm to 1:30am. Training will be conducted during 1st shift (Monday through Friday from 7:00am – 3:30pm) and then transition to 2nd shift.

**Roles and Responsibilities:

**

• Follows assembly instructions

• Mindful of all safety and quality protocol

• Operates cranes and jib cranes

• Assists other employees, works collaboratively to accomplish goals

• Takes initiative by providing input and information to resolve assembly issues

• Identifies delays or barriers such as material shortages or quality issues

• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment

• Follows instructions for operating equipment and keeping records

• Executes assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment

**Minimum Qualifications:

**

• Ability to obtain forklift certification

• High School diploma or GED

• Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck or other loading equipment

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time

• Having a good sense of balance

• Having good eye-hand-foot coordination

• Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights

• Ability to work in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust

• Ability to work on-site in Richmond, Illinois

**Preferred Qualifications:

**

• Math, language, reading, and basic computer skills

• Valid driver’s license with a clean recent driving record
