We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction, installation, or countertop fabrication, along with strong technical and communication skills. This role is essential to ensuring each project begins with accurate digital measurements and a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites and customer homes to complete precise digital measurements using a laser templating system

• Ensure templates accurately reflect all project specifications including cutouts, edge profiles, radiuses, and overhangs

• Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, and contractors to confirm design details and resolve any discrepancies

• Identify and document any missing project information such as faucet specs or appliance dimensions

• Upload completed templates and project documentation into CAD and company systems within required timelines

• Collaborate with sales, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure accurate and timely transitions from template to production

• Double-check measurements and site conditions to prevent fabrication or installation errors

• Maintain templating equipment in excellent working condition and follow all safety procedures

• Represent Atlantic Stoneworks with professionalism, courtesy, and exceptional customer service

• Stay current with templating technology, CAD tools, and industry best practices

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in countertop templating, installation, carpentry, cabinetry, or related construction trades (preferred)

• Experience with laser templating systems and CAD software strongly preferred

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and layout plans

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage daily routes and schedules independently

• Physically able to lift, carry, and operate templating equipment safely across varied environments

• Basic computer skills for uploading and organizing project data

• Valid driver's license (company vehicle provided)

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based environment with changing priorities

Compensation

• $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience
