Fabrication Laborer

Atlantic Staffing has an immediate opening for a Fabrication Laborer in Currie, NC for a rapidly expanding manufacturing company. 

Experience Required for the Fabrication Laborer:

• Support the Press Brake Operator set up the manual and CNC hydraulic press brakes (175 & 250 ton) with meticulous attention to tonnage limits and bend sequences. Previous Press Brake Operating experience a huge plus!
• Support the Press Brake Operator by lifting, moving and carrying materials.
• Additional tasks may be required.
• Follow established safety and quality procedures consistently, contributing to a calm and reliable shop floor.

Requirements of the Fabrication Laborer:

• Must have Diploma or Equivalent.
• 18 years or older
• Dependable/Responsible.
• Sit Down Forklift experience preferred, but not required.
• Able to follow directions and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Able to measure and/or mark reference points or cutting lines on workpieces using a tape measure and pass a pre employment tape measure test.
• Be able to follow Company and general industry safety requirements.
• Be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Willing and able to follow basic safety and quality procedures and wear PPE.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs on your own.
• Must wear steel toes boots.
  
• Must have capability to read, write & communicate verbally - Clearly

Work Schedule and Pay of the Fabrication Laborer:

• $18.00 an hour 
• Monday - Thursday / Work 4/10s 
• 5:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Lunch - 1 hour
• Occasional Mandatory Overtime on Friday's and Saturday's as needed.
