What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping & Receiving position at Atlantic Squared Supply LLC?
Shipping & Receiving is responsible for general warehouse responsibilities including inventory control, loss prevention, as well as shipping and receiving documentation. Sit-down forklift experience is required.
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Pulling material orders
- Assisting with customer pickups
- Loading/unloading trucks
- Assisting with keeping the warehouse neat and organized
- Restocking shelves
- Assisting with inventory management
- Operating a sit-down forklift
- Any other responsibilities deemed necessary
REQUIREMENTS
- MUST be a team player
- 1 year warehouse/forklift experience required
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to work long hours (7am-5:30pm or later when needed and some weekends when necessary)
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. repeatedly
- Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
- Customer service skills and ability to represent the company in an appropriate manner
