Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Are you a hands-on mechanic who enjoys solving complex problems and working in the field? Join our team as a Mobile Mechanic/Field Service Technician and play a critical role in keeping our customers' equipment operating safely and efficiently.

In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on a variety of equipment, including Link-Belt Cranes, Magni Telehandlers, Manitex Boom Trucks, and other equipment lines we represent. You'll use your mechanical expertise to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems while delivering exceptional service directly at customer job sites.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment in the field.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Repair and service hydraulic, electrical, engine, and mechanical systems.
• Operate independently while providing professional customer support.
• Complete accurate service documentation and communicate repair recommendations.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company standards.

What We're Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Experience with cranes, telehandlers, boom trucks, construction equipment, or related machinery preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls at various customer locations.
