Position Summary
Pooler Imaging Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled MRI Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team. We are currently hiring for both Full-Time and PRN positions.
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic MRI examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well in a collaborative environment, and is committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout each examination.
- Properly position patients and operate MRI equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
- Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and fellow team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment.
- Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
- ARRT registered or registry eligible.
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care.
