Position Overview

The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key role in creating a positive clinic experience. This position involves administrative, scheduling, and customer service responsibilities. The ideal candidate is warm, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Check patients in/out and manage daily flow of the clinic
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations
  • Collect copays and manage patient account balances
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records
  • Support therapists and clinical staff with daily administrative tasks
  • Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain clean and welcoming

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative, medical office, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Comfortable using computers, EMR systems, and phone systems
  • Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
