Position Overview
The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key role in creating a positive clinic experience. This position involves administrative, scheduling, and customer service responsibilities. The ideal candidate is warm, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Check patients in/out and manage daily flow of the clinic
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations
- Collect copays and manage patient account balances
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records
- Support therapists and clinical staff with daily administrative tasks
- Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain clean and welcoming
Qualifications
- Previous administrative, medical office, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Comfortable using computers, EMR systems, and phone systems
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- High school diploma or equivalent required
