Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing (Direct Hire)
Location: Lake Wales, FL
Pay: $30-$40 p/h
Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift available
A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at a high-volume production facility. This role is essential in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing unplanned downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment. We’re looking for a hands-on technician who can troubleshoot effectively and work both independently and within a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Conduct repairs, installations, and adjustments on industrial machinery
- Interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders within the CMMS
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
- Follow all safety guidelines and contribute to a strong safety culture
- Respond to emergency maintenance needs to reduce downtime
QualificationsRequired:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs using standard tools and testing equipment
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work required shift and overtime as needed
Preferred:
- Technical or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or Electrical Technology
- Experience with automated equipment, PLC troubleshooting, or robotics
- Familiarity with CMMS systems
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing
