What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist, Part time - 24 Hours per Week position at Atlantic Medical Imaging?
The AMI Vascular Institute is seeking a Part Time Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our teams in the Vineland Vascular Institute and new Somerdale office location. Training for this position will take place in the Vineland Vascular Institute on Sherman Avenue until the Somerdale office opens.
Part time, 20 hour per week positions at AMI are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, 401k & Profit Sharing. Health benefits are not currently extended with part time positions. Offered rates increase based on years of work experience.
Technologists at AMI assist with a variety of procedures, assist in patient preparation, and oversee the coordination of supplies and equipment.
Responsibilities of the Interventional Radiology Technologist include, but are not limited to:
- Assists physicians with complex vascular procedures;
- Assistance with the overall patient schedule flow;
- Aids Nurses and other staff in consultations; and
- Any other duties as required and assigned.
This Part time, 24 hour per week position includes the following work schedule:
Monday 7:30am-4pm, Somerdale
Tuesday 7:30am-4pm, Vineland
Thursday 7:30am-4pm, Somerdale
Training will be provided in the Vineland Vascular Institute on Sherman Avenue. The position will provide coverage in both Vineland and Somerdale. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.
Qualifications:
Eligible candidates are ARRT certified and have hands-on experience in the areas of interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization lab, or other endovascular experience. Qualified candidates must also have a New Jersey X-ray License. American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross CPR/BLS certification is required (must include hands-on instruction) prior to the start of employment. Candidates must be flexible with day shifts and with potential rotation to other offices.
