Media Buyer (Google & Meta Ads)

Atlantic Media Company
Vineland, NJ Part Time
POSTED ON 10/28/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/27/2026

Atlantic Media Company is one of the nation's leading marketing and advertising firms for home improvement contractors. Primarily outdoor living focused, our clients build multi-five and six figure pools, sunrooms, decks, and more. We play a crucial part in delivering quality leads and increasing their brand's authority in their market.

We are a small, high growth rate team based in New Jersey. Our clients range from owner-operators to established companies with 10 member sales teams, and we currently average 22x ROAS across the accounts we manage. We are prepping to aggressively scale in 2027, which requires strong client fulfillment and a team willing to work hard and grow in the process.

Position is remote (US-based candidates only), with a preference for the Philadelphia / South Jersey area. Eastern Time zone required. Optional hybrid at our office located at:

2630 E. Chestnut Ave, Vineland, NJ 08361

JOB SUMMARY

As our Media Buyer, you will own Google Ads across our client book and support our Meta campaigns. Reporting to our Director of Operations, you will own day to day campaign execution, from build and launch through ongoing monitoring and optimization, along with the conversion tracking behind it.

To be direct: Google is the priority. We are looking for someone who is already strong on Google Ads, not someone we need to train on it. Meta experience is a plus, but if your Meta is average and your Google is excellent, we want to hear from you. Meta can be taught. Google cannot, at least not on our clients' dime.

This is a part-time role with a path to full-time and other responsibilities in the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Google Ads

  • Build, launch, and manage Google Search and Performance Max campaigns across assigned contractor accounts.
  • Perform ongoing search term review, negative keyword management, geographic targeting, and budget pacing across accounts.
  • Monitor accounts daily. Catch disapprovals, policy issues, out-of-territory leads, and material changes in cost per lead or lead volume, and fix them before the client ever notices.
  • Execute structured tests on bidding strategies, ad copy, and campaign structure, and document what won and why.

Meta Ads

  • Support Meta lead generation campaigns, coordinating with our Director of Operations and creative team on new angles and creative iteration.
  • Grow into full ownership of Meta accounts over time.

Tracking & Reporting

  • Implement and QA conversion tracking, pixels, and analytics tags through Google Tag Manager and GA4 on new and existing accounts.
  • Maintain offline conversion imports so that bidding optimizes toward qualified and booked leads, not raw form fills.
  • Own the accuracy of the data behind every account. Conversions must fire correctly, without duplicates, and leads must be attributed to the right campaign, so that the Director of Operations is building client reporting on numbers that hold up.
  • Audit tracking on assigned accounts on a recurring basis and correct issues before they affect optimization or reporting.

Landing Pages & Creative Support

  • Review landing page performance against campaign data and identify what is costing conversions.
  • Write clear, specific change requests for our developers, from headline and offer revisions through form and layout changes.
  • Partner with the creative team to keep ad creative fresh and aligned to the offer and the market.

Systems & Process

  • Work with our Director of Operations to craft systems, processes, and SOPs with the goal of consistent client results across geographical areas of the United States.
  • Document what works so that a campaign structure proven in one market can be deployed reliably in another.
  • Identify where our current process breaks down at scale and propose the fix.

Account Support

  • Keep account documentation, task tracking, and internal notes current.
  • Contribute to onboarding new clients, including account build-out and initial tracking configuration.
  • Surface account issues, opportunities, and recommendations to the Director of Operations ahead of client reviews.

Please note, the duties outlined above do not encompass the full scope of the role, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 years of hands-on Google Ads experience. This is the hard requirement. You have built, launched, and optimized Search and Performance Max campaigns yourself and can speak in detail to accounts you personally managed.
  • Lead generation experience specifically, ideally for home services or other local, high-ticket businesses. Ecommerce-only backgrounds are a different discipline and will not transfer cleanly here.
  • Solid command of conversion tracking, pixels, and analytics tags through Google Tag Manager and GA4, including the ability to diagnose a broken setup without waiting on a developer.
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads policies and how to resolve disapprovals quickly.
  • Meta Ads Manager experience is a plus. Working familiarity is enough, and we will train the rest.
  • A working understanding of landing page anatomy. You do not need to build pages, but you need to know what drives conversion on one and be able to tell a developer exactly what to change and why.
  • Demonstrated experience documenting your own process. We are building the playbook that lets us scale into 2027, and you will be writing part of it.
  • Strong analytical instincts and comfort working in spreadsheets. You should be able to look at an account and form an opinion about what to cut.
  • Comfort working with AI tools that speed up analysis, ad copy, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as ClickUp.
  • Reliable computer and internet connection.
  • Clear written communication. Much of this job is explaining a number to someone who did not go to school for marketing.
  • Coursework or a degree in marketing, business, or a related field is welcome. A track record of running real ad spend matters more.

COMPENSATION

$30 to $40 per hour, commensurate with experience. Starting availability of 15 to 20 hours per week, with a path to full-time based on performance.

PROCESS

Short introductory call, followed by a paid trial task using a real account structure. We pay for your time on the trial. We make decisions quickly.
