Director of Refrigeration Service

Atlantic Mechanical | Eastern Massachusetts | Full Time | Hybrid

$160,000-$180,000 base salary, plus incentive bonuses tied to department and company performance.

Atlantic Mechanical is a 100% commercially focused HVACR contractor serving eastern Massachusetts. We have grown from $2 million to more than $20 million in annual revenue, and we are building the strongest commercial refrigeration service organization in the region. This is a newly created seat with real authority over how the department gets built.

This is a leadership role, not a field role. You will not be assigned service calls. You will run a department.

What you will own. The entire commercial refrigeration service department. Technician leadership and development, service delivery and dispatch priorities, client relationships, and departmental financial performance. You report directly to the COO and sit at the leadership table.

What your team will work on. Rack systems, walk in coolers and freezers, reach in units, and commercial ice machines are the core of the department. Beyond that, self contained and remote display cases, CO2 transcritical and secondary loop systems, case and rack controllers and monitoring platforms, and compressor failure analysis. Your job is to make sure they do it correctly, profitably, and safely, and to be the person they call when they are stuck.

What you need.

• EPA Section 608 Universal certification
• Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician license
• 10 or more years in commercial refrigeration, with at least 5 years managing a technician group
• Demonstrated ownership of a department or branch P&L
• Comfort running a department on a modern service platform. We run BuildOps.
